Reality Capture for VR/AR & 3D Digital Content

Using advanced 3D laser scanning, we convert real-world objects and environments into highly detailed digital 3D models with a high level of accuracy and realism. These digital assets can be used across a wide range of applications, including virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), video games, commercials, simulations, virtual tours, and other forms of 3D digital content. By starting with accurate 3D laser scan data, we create models that reflect true geometry rather than approximated shapes, making them especially valuable for projects where both realism and dimensional fidelity are important.

Our terrestrial 3D laser scanners are especially effective for capturing large-scale objects and environments, including heavy machinery, ships, villas, buildings, factories, and processing plants. Because terrestrial 3D laser scanning captures dense spatial data across large areas, it provides a strong foundation for creating immersive digital environments that accurately represent real-world conditions. When combined with photorealistic textures derived from images captured on site, these models can be developed into highly realistic digital representations for virtual simulations, interactive training, and engaging virtual tours that allow users to explore spaces remotely.

For smaller to medium-sized objects, such as vehicles, equipment, products, and other detailed items, we use metrology-grade handheld 3D laser scanners and measuring arm CMMs with 3D laser scanners. These tools are well suited for capturing fine geometric detail, complex surfaces, and smaller features that require a higher level of precision. As with terrestrial 3D laser scanning, the captured data can be processed and textured to create accurate, true-to-life 3D models suitable for visualization, animation, product presentation, and interactive digital applications.

Depending on the intended use, the final as-built deliverables can be provided as registered point clouds, 3D mesh models, 3D CAD models, BIM models, plant design models, or textured 3D models optimized for VR/AR & 3D digital content workflows. This flexibility allows us to support a wide range of creative, technical, and commercial applications while maintaining a strong connection to real-world geometry.
